Web
Application Adaptor 1.6
To increase developers' turn-around cycles,
we have built a mode into WAA that detects if a package DLL
was refreshed. This allows for "XCOPY deployment" of package
DLLs without the need to shut down the WAA.
Specific trace modes
help a developer to monitor what's going on in complex Web
applications during client/server communication.
To enable Mobile
Commerce, full WAP/WML support is added, including sample
applications demonstrating how to integrate mobile phones
with your existing WAA solutions.
Profiler
for Xbase++
The Xbase++ Profiler is proven to be a great
tool. Some of our customers have reported speed increase in
various areas by 5 times or more after analysis and rework
of their code using this tool. To increase productivity further
we added the following features:
Results can now be
printed, saved to a text file or copied to the clipboard.
A new preference
dialog speeds up the result views by pre-configuring your
views.
Two new advanced
trace modes are available: Configurable flush mode, which
can be combined with the trace file packet mode. Using these
techniques, you can access the trace data while the application
is still running, and you may transfer the trace data in packets,
e.g. via e-mail. Rebuild and analyze them in any place in
the world!
