The current Developer Subscription delivery is focusing on Database related technologies mostly. Products or technologies not listed in this document but on the previous subscription pages are a part of this subscription delivery as well.

Foundation subscription

Xbase++ 1.7
New: Scope support for all native Xbase++ DatabaseEngines. We have added functions and commands like DbSetScope() and DbClearScope(). With respect to customer demand the Xbase++ scope implementation can be enabled/disabled using DbEnableScope() and DbDisableScope().

New: Selective/Scoped relations, now your child area shows only those records which relate to the parent's keys

Updated: Completely redesigned Expression Executor for the Database Kernel, this expression executor alone reduces execution time by 50% or more thus making your application in general running faster when it comes to Index creation, Filter evaluation, Append/Replace operations when indexes are open

New: Extended Rushmore technology, yes we have completed it! Xbase++ 1.7 now comes with an Extended Rushmore Engine in the DBMS kernel, all native DatabaseEngines benefit from the resulting dramatic performance boost. Besides speed, the extended Rushmore technology also reduces network traffic significantly.

New: Database functions like OrdList(); OrdDescend(), OrdAscend() and much more...

New: True Bitmap transparency no plain-vanilla Background mapping as done with most other products.

Updated: Extended xbpFileDialog() now supports user-defined types.

Updated: Xbase++ Debugger. Quick view to inspect values of a variable now for Arrays, Objects and Codeblocks. Keyboard navigation enhanced in module window, callstack window, breakpoint list. Restore info includes command window. In addition command window content can optionally be executed on next startup.

Updated: NLS support. SetLocale() got new NLS-settings added for codepage, day and monthnames. Time zone support, now the Time() function can return the time of a specified time zone. New function LocaleConfigure() allows configuration of NLS based functions like Upper() etc. The Xbase++ resource-compiler ARC supports CHARACTER resource type which can be loaded by the new function LoadResource().

The POP3 email client class has been enhanced with special interfaces to inspect header details. The MIME message-format encoder received a huge amount of bug-fixes specifically related to the nuances of different email client implementations. With the new function LoadFromUrl() you can grab content from any existing web-site.
