Symptom:
Thousands seperator doesn't work for Norwegian locale
Description: 
Running on a machine with a Norwegian locale set activated,
the thousands seperator in transform() prints as ' '.

This problem applies to Swedish Xbase++ installations too.

Solution: 
Enter a character into the locale setting dialog of the OS.
