Symptom:
DELDBE sample for DELDBE_AUTOFIELD does not work
Description: 
The sample provided in the Online Documentation
is not working properly. When cut&pasted to a
prg, compiled and linked it generates a runtime
error.
Solution: 
Add DbeSetDefault("DELDBE") to the beginning of your
code. The DbeInfo() configuration uses the default
database engine which is not the DELDBE in case of
the sample. Therefore the configuration of the DELDBE
in terms of AUTOFIELD is made on the DBFNTX which is
the default DatabaseEngine of any Xbase++ application
by default.
