Symptom:
some filter expressions lead to unexpected app termination
Description: 
Under some circumstances it may happen that an application
just quits and will be terminated with an XPPFATAL.LOG which
looks kind of the one below:

This is NOT a garbage collector (GC) issue. The error happens
on a SET FILTER TO something and the GC is just the subsystem
which detects the issue which can not be dealt with.


This problem is fixed with the ASRDBC10.DLL PFL for Xbase++ 1.7.
However, there may other situations which may bring the rushmore
optimizer down -however we decided to close this PDR to give
others a chance to open more specialized PDRs.
Solution: 
Problem has been solved. Download the fix here. This issue does not exist
in future versions.
If this is not applicable, use SET OPTIMZE OFF to overcome this error and
please report
every filter expression to support@de.alaska-software.com.
