Closed Build: Close Date: Platform:
1.90.286 02.08.2002 ALL
State: Reference PDR ID: Hotfix Rollup No.:
CLOSED 4821
Symptom:
ODBCDBE attempts to write on read-only cursor(MS-SQL server)
Description:
If a statement having an ORDER BY was submitted to the MS-SQL Server
ODBC driver, the driver does not modify the read-only attribute
immediately. Instead, an error occurs if an update is triggered.
The ODBCDBE thinks the cursor would be writable.

Solution:
Explicitly set the ODBCSSN_CONCURRENCY to ODBC_CONCUR_READONLY
before submitting the statemnt.
