There have been more than 100 issues resolved since the RC-1 drop, hence the release of Xbase++1.9 is coming closer and closer. Furthermore, you will enjoy an introduction chapter on ActiveX while laying hands on the RC-2; also, you will find a lot of fixes related to the ODBC DatabaseEngine. Beyond that, the RC-2 contains fixes and minor refinements in almost all areas of the product. Thus, we like to ask our beta participants to read up carefully the READ-ME included as well as the list-of-changes in the Online Documentation.
Any customer who currently uses the RC-1 should update immediately to RC-2, since the former stops working on February 28th, 2006.
